Time Versus Eternity; the here and now is moving like a conveyor belt with people being flung off on both sides with their passing. Time, where are you going, they must leave you as you refuse to stop for no one. The ride of life can be short or long, none knows when their stop will come, perhaps one will have a good idea the signs of departure are near and anticipate the final plunge from life to eternal life. Time, you too will stop and will no longer transport life, will you stop abruptly or show signs of slowing, as the Creator appears before you, we do not know exactly accept to be ready for our departure and your departure as the Creator has said will come. Time versus Eternity, ones says I shall die and be no more, the other says I am without beginning or end, some take the position of time, we shall forever cease, some take the position of eternity, we shall forever live, all are effective by the power of the Creator who has turned on time but who has not turned off life. Those who have plunged off the conveyor belt of time should not be amazed that life is supported by an eternal command. We die and are no more if God gives the word but we have seen God has given his word we shall live forever and to be ready for a life that shall never cease. The conveyor belt of time had the Lord himself on the ride, flung from its platform only to jump on again, body and soul, the Lord is Lord of time and will be what brings it to a halt. We can believe our Lord Jesus or take our chances we will be right and time will end all life. Time versus Eternity, how many believe in you.

Pride Versus Humility; I will not serve! Some angels, some humans go to one side. Who is like God! Some angels, some humans go to another side. The servant becomes Master and will dictate the path to be taken for the greater glory of Self. The servant stays servant and will serve and praise God for all eternity. The Masters versus The Servants battle each other everyday in this world, we serve Self! We serve God! Like the Kingdom of God, the Servants will rule the earth when all is said and done. The Masters will be thrown down one more time, unable to escape their enclosure and subject to the King's Justice. Masters and Servants, forever. ****** God, the Master/Servant is the ruler we could have never dreamt of, his thoughts and ways are high above all.

St. Francis of Assisi - Born in 1181, Italy, died in 1226. - We should all realize that no matter where or how a man dies, if he is in the state of mortal sin and does not repent, when he could have done so and did not, the Devil tears his soul from his body with such anguish and distress that only a person who has experienced it can appreciate it.*********By the anxieties and worries of this life Satan tries to dull man's heart and make a dwelling for himself there.**** All the darkness in the world cannot extinguish the light of a single candle.**** If you have men who will exclude any of God's creatures from the shelter of compassion and pity, you will have men who will deal likewise with their fellow men.** Those who will not taste how sweet the Lord is and who love darkness rather than the light, not wishing to fulfil the commandments of God are cursed: of them it is said by the prophet: "They are cursed who decline from Thy commandments." But, O how happy and blessed are those who love the Lord, who do as the Lord Himself says in the Gospel: "Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with thy whole heart and with thy whole soul and . . . thy neighbor as thyself." Let us therefore love God and adore Him with a pure heart and a pure mind because He Himself, seeking that above all, says: "The true adorers shall adore the Father in spirit and in truth." For all who "adore Him, must adore Him in spirit and in truth." And let us offer Him praises and prayers day and night, saying: "Our Father who art in heaven," for "we ought always to pray, and not to faint."***** We ought indeed to confess all our sins to a priest and receive from him the Body and Blood of our Lord Jesus Christ. He who does not eat His Flesh and does not drink His Blood cannot enter into the Kingdom of God. Let him, however, eat and drink worthily, because he who receives unworthily "eateth and drinketh judgment to himself, not discerning the Body of the Lord," that is, not discerning it from other foods. Let us,moreover, "bring forth fruits worthy of penance." And let us love our neighbors as ourselves, and, if any one does not wish to love them as himself or cannot, let him at least do them not harm, but let him do good to them.******And since He has suffered so many things for us and has done and will do so much good to us, let every creature which is in heaven and on earth and in the sea and in the abysses render praise to God and glory and honor and benediction; for He is our strength and power who alone is good, alone most high, alone almighty and admirable, glorious and alone holy, praiseworthy and blessed without end forever and ever. ********But all those who do not do penance and who do not receive the Body and Blood of our Lord Jesus Christ, but who give themselves to vices and sins and walk after evil concupiscence and bad desires and who do not observe what they have promised, corporally they serve the world and its fleshly desires and cares and solicitudes for this life, but mentally they serve the devil, deceived by him whose sons they are and whose works they do; blind they are because they see not the true light, our Lord Jesus Christ. They have no spiritual wisdom, for they have not in them the Son of God who is the true wisdom of the Father: of these it is said: "their wisdom was swallowed up." They know, understand, and do evil and wittingly lose their souls. Beware, ye blind, deceived by your enemies—to wit, by the world, the flesh and by the devil—for it is sweet to the body to commit sin and bitter to serve God because all vices and sins come forth and proceed from the heart of man, as it is said in the Gospel.*** Almighty, eternal, just, and merciful God, give to us wretches to do for Thee what we know Thee to will and to will always that which is pleasing to Thee; so that inwardly purified, inwardly illumined and kindled by the flame of the Holy Ghost, we may be able to follow in the footsteps of Thy Son, our Lord Jesus Christ, and by Thy grace alone come to Thee the Most High, who in perfect Trinity and simple Unity livest and reignest and gloriest God Almighty forever and ever. Amen.

Knowledge versus Wisdom. "Wickeness prevails not over Wisdom" Wisdom serves God and sees with God's eyeglasses, passes along the gift until one decides to throw the glasses to the ground proclaiming, " I see just fine!" Without wisdom your sight has just turned into darkness and God is not percieved through his gift he first created to know and love him. God's wisdom was debased within the angelic rank with a new pair of glasses that knowledge would provide. Knowledge versus Wisdom, first result a casting out of the Kingdom, second result, a stripping of all godliness and beauty, third result, a hatred of God and good, fourth result, the countdown to final destruction hovers over their head, day by day they await the final trumpet and their punishment, unable to escape or hide. Knowledge is a blessed gift unless one says screw God's wisdom. Created Wisdom would say: Everything is a gift and we are in debt. Love and thankfulness would not be lacking but the essence of being and living.

Pleasure versus Fear; the entry level for heaven and hell. In the garden, we see Adam and Eve choose pleasure, the fruit was pleasing to the eyes and would enhance their IQ over fear, "You shall die". Pleasure can be a killer and fear can be a lifesaver. One steps into the fiery abyss with feelings of enjoyment and excitement unawares the flames will eventually burn through to the heart and soul causing much grief and despair as the whole self will be aflamed for eternity without relief or aid. The log of illicit pleasure is flammable and unless doused will continue to burned in the fireplace called hell. Souls ablazed with passion for sin reap its fruit of death and self annihilation of being a child of God to being a child of death and darkness where no love for self or neighbor exists. The chose of pleasure over fear for their being results in destruction of the gift given to them.*** One steps into the magnificence paradise of heaven with a fear of hell, continuously on guard and alert unless one falls away and is damned. As one progresses the heart and soul comes to love and know the Creator and desires a life that burns with the fire of truth and love. Fear is our safeguard to helps us avoid a tragedy such as losing our soul, growing closer and closer to our Creator is the best aid in living now and forever. The gift of our Creator is loved. ****Adam and Eve made the wrong decision and there were consequences but they did not make the worse decision of not repenting and acknowledging they made a bad chose, God was able to help them because they did not despair and we are in their debt that life continued. Sin brought death, repentance brought life, Adam and Eve dwell with the Lord, may we not have to learn the hard way like Adam and Eve, may we too be with the Lord. Let the devil go to hell without our souls, of course, he will present his attractive alternatives, lets remember our first parents, pleasure turned to pain, life turn to death, paradise turned to hardships, the salesman from the garden has nothing but death and destruction underneath the pretty wrapped present for us to open. Fear and love of the Lord, save us!

St. Teresa of Avila - Born in 1515, Avila, Spain; died in 1582. - In all created things discern the providence and wisdom of God, and in all things give Him thanks.******Let him never cease from prayer who has once begun it, be his life ever so wicked; for prayer is the way to amend it, and without prayer such amendment will be much more difficult.********We need no wings to go in search of Him, but have only to find a place where we can be alone and look upon Him present within us. ********It is impossible for a person who prays regularly to remain in serious sin; because the two are incompatible, one or the other will have to be given up.********The highest perfection consists not in interior favors or in great raptures, but in the bringing of our wills so closely into conformity with the Will of God that, as soon as we realize that he wills anything, we desire it ourselves with all our might.*******There is more value in a little study of humility and in a single act of it than in all the knowledge in the world.**** True perfection consists in the love of God and our neighbour, and the better we keep both these commandments, the more perfect we shall be.*******However many years life might last, no one could ever wish for a better friend than God.****** From moment to moment one can bear much.*******To seek God within ourselves avails us far more than to look for Him amongst creatures.******God bestows two remedies for all the temptations and trials that we have to endure: Love and Fear... Love makes us quicken our steps, while fear will make us look where we are setting our feet so that we shall not fall.*******With the Lord by our side, there is nothing we cannot do. Separated from Him, we will collapse almost immediately. With so good a friend and Captain ever present, Himself the first to suffer, everything can be borne. He helps. He strengthens. He never fails. He is the true friend.*******"Those watching from the river bank saw the carriage she was in swaying on the brink of the torrent. She jumped out awkwardly, up to her knees in water, and hurt herself in the process. Wryly, she complained. "So much to put up with and you send me this!" Jesus replied, "Teresa, that's how I treat my friends." She was not lost for an answer: "Small wonder you have so few!"*******Love and fear of God! These are two strong castles whence we can wage war on the world and on the devils.******** Remember that you have only one soul; that you have only one death to die; that you have only one life, which is short and has to be lived by you alone; and there is only one glory, which is eternal. If you do this, there will be many things about which you care nothing.******
